Proposal to Amend ECCA Championship Conditions

As a consequence of issues arising at the 2012 ECCA Relay Championships, the ECCA General Committee wishes to address these issues and present members with a number of options for determination at the ECCA Annual Open Meeting.

UKA Rule 5(6) requires Junior and Senior Men and Women who are not eligible to represent GB & NI under IAAF Rules to register with UKA as a Foreign Athlete for each year in which they wish to represent a club affiliated to one of the four home country federations.

The nature of competition within the two ECCA Championships indicates that the implementation of additional conditions should be considered separately but any conditions that are applied should be consistent across the two events.

If approved a sub-section to ECCA Championship Condition 3 will be drafted.
