Record Women’s entries in the XC relays..

Entries
Another big entry has been received for this years Saucony English Cross Country Relays. A total of 1178 Teams had been received across the 10 Championships at entry closure, not quite a record but only 17 short of the top total of 1195 received in 2012 and reversed the trend of the last 3 years which had seen small decreases.

However, record numbers have been received in two of the age groups with 161 Teams entered in the Senior Women’s race – 6 up on the previous record and 58 entered in the Junior Women’s event – up 3 on the previous best.
There are in fact entries high than last year in all other age groups with some approaching previous bests.

Nos. entered this year in all the age groups are:
Senior Men 224, Senior Women 161, Junior Men 85, Junior Women 58, Under 17 Men 107, Under 17 Women 93, Under 15 Boys 107, Under 15 Girls 120, Under 13 Boys 106, Under 13 Girls 117.

This is the 31st time the Championships have been held since the first was staged at Crystal Palace in 1985, while the Championships have been at Berry Hill Park since 1989 so this is the 28th year there and the 29th time (2 events held in 1998).

When approaching Berry Hill Park look out for signage directing you to parking in the Park. Once again we have arranged free parking, please park and drive responsibly in the Park. Coaches will be directed to Blackscotch Lane where parking will be allowed opposite the Park. To make sure we have enough parking please let us know if you are coming by Coach or large Minibus, by emailing admin@englishcrosscountry.co.uk with the information.

If using a Sat Nav then the following post codes will be needed.
