Basil Heatley, A Tribute

Basil Heatley, a young 17 year old worker from a farm just outside Coventry saw an advert by Godiva Harriers asking for would be athletes to take part in a recruitment ‘Novice Race’. Basil Heatley who was The ECCA President in 2016/17 passed away on the 3rd August 2019. Basil who was 85 and as you know was a great cross country and marathon runner will be greatly missed and the ECCA send condolences to his wife and family. The Funeral of Basil will take place at 3-00pm
